Welcome to the VDK website. We are a part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). The SCA is an international society celebrating pre 16th century history that has members who study every aspect of medieval life. If someone did it back then, you can bet someone is trying to do it now. For more info on the SCA, click here. The VDK is a household in the SCA. That means we are a group that likes to go to SCA tournaments, festivals, classes, feasts and weekend events together. We like to eat, drink, and play together. We are brewers, archers, calligraphers, fencers, spinners, blacksmiths, costumers, dancers, cooks and armoured fighters. We enjoy feasting, spinning, needlepoint, equestrian, leatherwork, beadwork, socializing, live weapons competition, period dance, music, theatre and much more.

	As a fighting unit, the "Dragons Claws" can be found within the Northern Army of the East Kingdom. We favor a fast moving, hard hitting, shock style of melee combat that involves "cavalry style" tactics.
